Maximum Load Height and Door Closure
Containers are not to be filled above wall height. Please note, in order for us to tarp our containers properly and legally, only fill the container level with or lower than the height of the container walls.
If it is filled higher than the wall height and we are unable to tarp the load, a “dry-run” fee will be charged, items will have to be rearranged or removed by the renter, and a new pick-up date will be scheduled.
Also, if the container’s contents do not allow for rear door closure, a “dry-run” fee will be charged, items will have to be rearranged by the renter and a new pick-up date will be scheduled.
Weight Limit
There is a 4,000-pound weight limit on the material placed into the container. There will be a charge of $.04 per pound for every pound above the 4,000 lb limit.
If this happens, a copy of the weight slip will be emailed to the renter. If the container is too heavy to be picked up by our trucks, a “dry-run” fee will be charged, weight will have to be removed by the renter and a new pick-up date will be scheduled.
*Note: Average household waste materials and/or construction debris will normally not reach the 4,000 lb weight limit in our 15 cubic yard (or smaller) containers
Dry-Run Fee
A dry-run fee of $75 will be added if our driver is unable to retrieve the container at the time of scheduled pick-up due to weight and/or height overage, rear door closure obstruction, or container blockage (e.g., parked vehicle blocking the retrieval of the container).
A new pick-up date/time will then be scheduled.
*Note: A $20 daily fee will also accrue for every day past the 7-day rental period until the dry-run scenario is rectified
Damage to Container
The renter is responsible for any damage caused to the container while the container is present at the rental location.
For example, unauthorized moving of a container causing damage, wet paint spillage, wet concrete or other sticky material dumped into the container, paint overspray that defaces or mars the surface and appearance of the container or using heavy equipment such as a skid steer to drop heavy loads into the container causing dents/cracks to the interior or exterior sheet metal.
Additional charges will be added to cover the cost of repairs.
*Note: If the container requires relocation at any time during the rental period, please contact us, and we can send a driver to relocate the container for a negotiable fee.
Required Permitting/Waivers
The renter is responsible for any permits/permission/waivers needed for container placement (e.g., City/County/HOA, etc.).
For instance, if the desired container location is in a Colorado Springs city street or right-of-way, the renter is required to get a “Temporary Revocable Permit – Surface” from the City of Colorado Springs; this can take 2 to 4 days for approval.
